Bridal Trials
I encourage all of my brides to come in for a bridal trial. It gives us a chance to discuss your wedding, your vision of how you would like to look for your day a feel comfortable in the makeup.
I conduct trials in my home studio where there is plenty of natural lighting as well as enhanced professional grade lighting throughout the room.
Tips for a getting the most out of your makeup trial.
-Arrive with a clean face, free of any makeup products
-Bring along pictures of reference, looks that you like and even looks you may want to stay away from. We will discuss how these looks would reflect on you with your shaped face and eyes.
-Feel free to bring along a friend or family member, someone who knows you and will give you great opinions.
-Remember that bridal make-up needs to have enough colour to compensate for the whiteness of the dress. There’s a big difference between everyday clothes and a wedding dress, so there should be difference in your make-up, too.
-Stay away from trends in makeup, keep in mind your pictures are forever.
-Remember you are enlisting a pro to do your makeup, it should (and will be) different than the colors and styles that you use on your own on a day to day basis.
-Most importantly communicate with your makeup artist about things that you like and don't like about the trial. I love to hear feedback and have many tricks up my sleeve. With communication we will come up with the picture perfect look for you!!
